Strategic Partnerships and Business Development Consultant

Partnerships and marketing that grow together.

I open doors with new partners, lead deals from first conversation through signed agreement, and build the brand and pipeline behind them, without the overhead of a full time executive hire.

Sound familiar?
Your brand does not reflect the quality of your work.
Your pipeline is full of leads that go nowhere.
Promising deals stall before they ever reach the table.
You need senior help but cannot justify a full time hire.

What I Do

Two disciplines. One root system.

Partnerships & Growth

  • Enterprise partnership sourcing
  • Deal negotiation and closing with senior leadership
  • Go to market strategy
  • Cross functional execution across legal, product, and marketing

Brand & Marketing

  • Brand design and cohesion
  • CRM management and pipeline hygiene
  • SEO and digital presence
  • Communications and PR

Every root feeds the same tree.

Experience

Range that is not accidental.

Most consultants specialize in one lane, marketing or business development. I have spent 15 years working both: sourcing and closing enterprise partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, leading cross functional teams through complex agreements, engaging senior leadership and public agencies, and building the brands and pipelines behind that growth across hospitality, transit, film, healthcare, commercial real estate, and private credit.

That range is not accidental. The same fundamentals that open a partnership also grow a brand, and I know how to work both levers at once, whatever the industry.

About

I am Emily Oestreicher, a strategic partnerships and business development consultant based between California and New York.

I have spent 15 years leading partnerships, marketing, and communications across industries, and hold an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Analysis from UC Davis. I have built teams, closed enterprise partnerships, launched brands, and turned messy operations into something that works.

I started Alder Strategy because I kept seeing the same gap: smart, growing companies with real potential, stuck because they lacked the partnership muscle and marketing leadership to compete. That is exactly the gap I fill.

Alder trees enrich the soil around them, making everything nearby grow stronger. That is the philosophy behind this practice. I do not just execute. I build the conditions for lasting growth.
